The Institute of World Economy and International
Relations (IMEMO) was established in 1956 as the successor to the
Institute of World Economy and Politics which existed from 1925
till 1948. The IMEMO is one of the most prestigious centres in the
country for fundamental and applied social-economic, political and
strategic research, directed at the analysis of world developments.
The Institute has 448 researchers on its staff, among whom 3 members
of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 3 corresponding members, 78
Doctors of Science and 240 Candidates of Science (PhD)...
